Jacqui McShee's Pentangle

Iconic artist Jacqui McShee's beautiful crystal-clear vocals set the standard for female British folk and the band was legendary on the folk-rock scene with virtuoso guitarists John Renbourn and Bert Jansch, Danny Thompson and Terry Cox.

Jacqui McShee's Pentangle features saxophonist Gary Foote, bassist & guitarist Alan Thompson, drummer & percussionist Gerry Conway and Spencer Cozens on keyboards. The original Pentangle expanded the frontiers of Folk in the 1960s and '70s. Since then, Jacqui McShee’s Pentangle has progressed and expanded the original concept and continues to make groundbreaking music.

Jacqui also has a trio 'TAKE 3' featuring Alan Thompson & Gerry Conway. The trio allows Jacqui to revisit some of her favourite Pentangle songs in a more acoustic manner, as well as songs not performed by Pentangle.

Growing out of the "Cautionary Tales" folk-rock big-band studio project produced by Mark Stevens and PJ Wright, TRADarrr has grown into the onstage eight (at one point, fourteen) musicians that so impressed the Cropredy 2015 audience with their rocking, very musical set.

With a pedigree rooted in folk and rock music and an exciting palette of influences and flavours, the band explores traditional English material with 21st Century ears.

Their second album, 'Further tales of Love! Death! and Treachory! is out now.

The Ric Sanders Trio

Former Soft Machine and current Fairport Convention violinist Ric Sanders' latest project is Americana Blues at heart. Stepping away from the jazz and folk influences of previous projects, Ric is joined by much loved cohorts Vo Fletcher (guitar & vocals) and Michael Gregory (Percussion) and believes in this lineup and genre he's found what he loves playing the most.

Their beautiful arrangments and choice of material along with the fun they have on stage means they are becoming one of the most popular, audience friendly acts on the UK Acoustic music scene. Ideal for Festivals and concert venues, this Trio really are a joy to watch.

Check out 'Standin' on the Corner' the Trio's wonderful album by going to the Dotted line shop.

Benji Kirkpatrick & The Excess

Benji was a member of recently disbanded folk trailblazers Bellowhead; is a third of the power folk trio Faustus; spent 3 years in Seth Lakeman’s band and has always performed as a solo artist. Benji deftly picks his way up and down the frets of the bouzouki, guitar, mandolin and banjo and with his 2015 release Hendrix Songs he tackles the songs of his hero, Jimi Hendrix, in stripped back, purely acoustic and thoroughly original style. His 2008 Navigator label release, Boomerang, showcased his unique song writing talents and he has worked alongside Maddy Prior and Oysterband to name but a few. Benji is currently out performing as a solo artist and with his fabulous new trio, The Excess.
